I needed to use the latest version of SASS (v3.2) in order to use a new feature where you can pass @content blocks to @mixins.
Updating is pretty simple, this worked on OSX 10.8.2:
# sudo gem update
As an FYI, here’s an example of using @content blocks:
@mixin retina {
@media only screen and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio : 1.5), only screen and (min-device-pixel-ratio : 1.5) {
@content;
}
}
.outer-class {
font-weight: bold;
.inner-class {
@include retina {
user-select: none;
-webkit-user-select: none;
-webkit-touch-callout: none;
-webkit-text-size-adjust: none;
}
}
}
The result would be the following:
.outer-class {
font-weight: bold; }
@media only screen and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 1.5), only screen and (min-device-pixel-ratio: 1.5) {
.outer-class .inner-class {
user-select: none;
-webkit-user-select: none;
-webkit-touch-callout: none;
-webkit-text-size-adjust: none; } }
